The English Mastiff

English Mastiff’s are one of the oldest largest domestic breeds.
A descendant from the Molossus or Mollosser,
who were vicious war dogs dating back as long as 5,000 years.
They are now known as gentle giants and make great
pets as well as show dogs.
They are very affectionate dogs but if they don’t get the
attention they need they can become very lonely and destructive.
They are also docile but very protective if they need to be.
Because of their large size they may not be suited for families
with small children or any frail family members.
